<p>Job Description</p> <p>The Procurement Practice Specialist, Energy Account Manager is responsible for leading all client account management activities, such as maintaining current business relationships, managing the client renewal process, ensuring delivery matches contract scope and happens as agreed, managing business development, account development, customer satisfaction, client relationships, managing internal Accenture communication (e.g. finance, Client Account Leadership, delivery teams) and overall account strategies. The goal of the Procurement Practice Energy Account Manager is to lead the overall managed-services relationship and drive enhanced customer engagements via managing delivery requirements and upselling. Managing executive relationships and negotiating high-risk situations will be an everyday challenge in this position.</p> <p>The Work:</p> <p>Join us in a role where your expertise will shine! We look forward to welcoming you aboard!</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the execution of procurement and category management delivery, design and implement cost-effective and operational recommendations to drive innovation, define strategies, products, deliverables, and value propositions, ensure that service level agreements are consistently met </li><li>Provide oversight of the procurement subcontractor function. </li><li>Maintain client engagements, transition clients from sales to delivery, set communication cadence and manage the communication flow with clients </li><li>Ensure the delivery team has prioritized the correct work streams </li><li>Monitor and measure delivery of business results and achievement of the program </li><li>Address new service opportunities with clients, coordinate approvals for contingency plans and scope changes </li><li>Manage the contract renewal process, communicate program performance to client stakeholders, provide account margin oversight </li><li>Create margin improvement plans where needed </li><li>Follow-up on AP issues directly with clients and Accenture finance </li><li>Develop raving fans/trusted advisors leading to referable relationships. </li></ul> <p>Qualification</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 4 years working experience in energy management </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining client financials, renewals, and upsells </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience </li><li>Expert proficiency in Account Management </li><li>Advanced proficiency in Energy Management and/or Efficiency Services </li><li>Project management experience in a corporate and/or professional services environment </li><li>Excellent communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Data cleansing and management experience </li><li>Strong customer relationship management skills </li><li>Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers </li><li>Understanding of strategic sourcing, process/supplier implementation, and change management best practices implementation </li><li>Knowledge of procurement operations </li></ul> <p>Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
