<p>To support Academic Achievement in equipping all UNW students to reach their academic goals, Academic coaches will meet with students to provide encouragement and accountability with academic tasks while working with the student to develop specific study strategies to reach their goal.</p> <p>Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Meet with students one on one or in small groups to develop study strategies and/or provide accountability in reaching academic goals </li><li>Follow-up with students regarding progress on weekly academic goals </li><li>Attend all required Academic Achievement student worker trainings </li><li>Assist with daily and long-term tasks and projects relating to Academic Achievement </li><li>Bring about campus awareness of the department (i.e., Creating bulletin board displays and promotional material and participating in various campus events) </li><li>Train students to use assistive technology (AT) </li><li>Complete academic coaching summary report after each coaching meeting </li><li>Be familiar with and work within the parameters of all FERPA regulations </li><li>Abide by all University policies </li></ul> <p>Wage: $11.13 per hour.</p> <p>STUDENT POSITIONS ARE OPEN TO INDIVIDUALS ENROLLED IN A MINIMUM OF 1 ON-CAMPUS TRAD COURSE (INCLUDING PSOC) AT UNW.</p> <p>After hire, prior to your start date, you will be required to present valid documentation of employment eligibility.
