Find your future with us.</p> <p>Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Air Dominanceis looking for a Support Coordinator to join our Engineering Test and Technology (ET&T) Material Management Operations (MMO) team located in Berkeley, MO.</p> <p>Support Coordinator encompasses all of the duties of the following job classifications: Production Material Coordinator, Crater & Packer, and Material Handler- Specialist.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Expedite, coordinate all scheduled job assignments, and clear up and holdups</p> </li><li> <p>Receiving, moving, storage, and inventory of material, parts, equipment, tools, part kits, and supplies</p> </li><li> <p>Process and issue tools, parts, materials, and other items as necessary, as well as storage, inventory and delivery of parts, tools, materials, and other materials</p> </li><li> <p>Obtain, sort, load, unload, pull, move and record items</p> </li><li> <p>Report tool crib storage items that are obsolete, require inspection or are damaged</p> </li><li> <p>Operate hand, power, automated & electronic equipment such as lift trucks, saws, hoists and cranes</p> </li><li> <p>Layout and fabricate shipping containers of various sizes</p> </li><li> <p>Construct, repair and assemble a variety of shipping containers</p> </li><li> <p>Properly tie down, block and brace containers in transportation vehicles</p> </li><li> <p>Use measuring instruments, woodworking machine tools and other equipment as required</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in maintaining, investigate and correct discrepancies in automated data relative to work orders on the production floor</p> </li><li> <p>Electronic data input or retrieval as required</p> </li></ul> <p>The following Physical Demands may be requirements of this job:</p> <p>Limited (0-1 hours) Crawling, Lying Down (back, front, side), Forceful grasping, Occasional (1-3 hours) Requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and supporting up to 35lbs, Bending at the waist, kneeling, crouching, squatting, reaching. The position may have frequent (3-6 hours) exposure to noise. This position requires eye, hearing and other personal protective equipment. Occasional (1-3 hours) climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting and working on ladders. Working on elevated and/or uneven surfaces. Exposure to noise, moving parts and occasional exposure to high/exposed places. Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling up to 35 lbs. Frequent standing, reaching, handling, and turning. The ability to operate a forklift, tug, scooter or other vehicles as necessary.</p> <p>This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>1+ years of experience in inventory, stock, or supply chain</p> </li><li> <p>High School Diploma or GED</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Forklift operator or tug experience</p> </li><li> <p>Experience using computers, including typing and utilization of the Microsoft Office suite</p> </li></ul> <p>Drug Free Workplace:</p> <p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.</p> <p>Union:</p> <p>This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinists (IAMAW 837) Collective Bargaining agreement.</p> <ul> <li> <p>New Hires, as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions, may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. Once any required training has been completed all new employees will be considered on probation for a period of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of any required training and the probationary period.</p> </li><li> <p>Training will be completed on first shift. Must be able to work any shift, overtime and holidays as required. May require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance and/or program special access.
