<p>Job Title: Compounding Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compounding Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compounding and manufacturing, specifically within the food and beverage industry. This role requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the highest quality products.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Accurately measure and mix ingredients according to specific formulations and recipes. </li><li>Perform precise weighing and calculations to ensure correct ingredient proportions. </li><li>Follow batch cards meticulously to prepare batches according to specifications. </li><li>Operate and maintain compounding equipment and machinery. </li><li>Conduct product inspections to ensure all products meet quality and safety standards. </li><li>Provide samples for quality control testing for the lab. </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment. </li><li>Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. </li><li>Document all processes and maintain accurate records of batches. </li><li>Collaborate with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency and quality of products. </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the compounding process. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience in compounding, mixing, GMP, and batch making. </li><li>Proficiency in production, weighing, distillation, and working with chemical compounds. </li><li>Experience with batch mixers, production, blending, and batching. </li><li>Ability to operate machinery and handle production equipment. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in food science or a related field is a plus. </li><li>Previous experience in a compounding or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy. </li><li>Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures. </li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills. </li><li>Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation. </li><li>Ability to lift and move heavy ingredients and equipment as needed. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position is set in a manufacturing environment where you will wear a provided uniform. It can get hot during the summer months, so wearing shorts is permitted. The role requires independent work, solid attention to detail, and the ability to handle and document calculations for product specifications accurately.
