<p>Hiring Department</p> <p>Child Development Lab in the College of Education and Human Development</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Serve as an assistant to the lead teacher in a university-based early childhood program. Assistant teachers are primarily responsible for mentoring student teachers, supervising co-teachers, and coordinating classroom activities, in addition to caring for and educating preschool children. The Child Development Teacher is expected to collaborate with the teaching team, other faculty, and practicum students to plan and execute a program that is developmentally sound and sensitive to the range of individual differences reflected in our student, staff, and family populations.</p> <p>Shift</p> <p>8 hour shift (Monday-Friday)</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>An Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and some experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>License/Certification: CPR Certification (Preferred) and Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)</p> <p>Anticipated Hiring Range</p> <p>Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour</p> <p>Grade: GGS-005</p> <p>University Title: Child Development Associate</p> <p>Internal applicants can determine their university title by accessing the Talent Profile tile in myHR.</p> <p>Application Materials</p> <p>Letter of application, resume, and transcripts combined into one PDF or Microsoft Word document should be uploaded as the resume attachment.</p> <p>Benefit Eligibility</p> <p>This position is eligible for University benefits.
