<p>#Advanced Practice Provider - Behavioral Health Services Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $52.48 - $78.72 an hour - Half Time, 24 hours/week Boulder Community Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider who provides psychiatric care to patients on Inpatient Behavioral Health unit and/or Consultation Liaison Service within the standards and practices of a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Physician Assistant. Responsibilities #Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients. #Interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed. #Performs a thorough physical exam, and records findings. #Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients. #Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures. #Synthesizes data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention. #Administers medications and injections as needed. #Sutures minor lacerations. #Interviews and advises patients regarding health and illness prevention. #Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions. #Provides patient education and discharges patients when appropriate. #Maintains and reviews patients# records, charts, and other pertinent information. #Posts tests and examination results.
