<p>Shift:10pm-6:30am</p> <p>Purpose and Scope of Position:</p> <p>This position ensures jobs are setup, printed and cut with the correct quantity and quality. The Label Cutting Machine Operator will keep the printers are running at high capacity. This position will work closely with the Label Print team with tasks, adjustments needing to be made, and maintain the printers to ensure they are running smoothly.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Printing all jobs in an efficient manner. </li><li>Putting on and taking rolls off the machines. </li><li>Change the media on the computers when new orders need to be completed. </li><li>Complete quality checks on the media being printed. </li><li>Move finished work to the next department. </li><li>Clean and maintain work area. </li><li>Adaptability to shift or hour changes. </li><li>Additional duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <ul> <li>1 year in a manufacturing setting or machine operating experience. </li><li>Computer savvy. </li></ul> <p>Education and Training Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent. </li></ul> <p>Language Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to read and write in English. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to stand for 8 hours. </li><li>Ability to walk for 8 hours. </li><li>Ability to perform fine manipulation such as picking or pinching for 4 hours. </li><li>Ability to perform gross manipulation such as holding, grasping, and turning for 6 hours. </li><li>Ability to lift and carry 40-60 pounds for 4 hours. </li><li>Near visual acuity, to quality check orders for 8 hours. </li><li>Ability to push or pull 40-60 pounds for 4 hours. </li><li>Ability to reach above the shoulder with 60 pounds for 2 hours. </li><li>Ability to utilize a pallet jack. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Working within a production and laboratory setting. The laboratory environment requires GMP compliance such as a hairnet, beard net for any facial hair, lab coat, long pants, and closed toed shoes. </li><li>Facial piercings must be removable. </li><li>Occasionally loud environment when multiple machines are running. </li><li>Alternating temperatures when machines are running and depending if the bay doors are open. </li></ul> <p>Snugzusa LLC is an equal opportunity employer and is a supporter of diversity and inclusion.
