<p>Company :</p> <p>Allegheny Health Network</p> <p>Job Description :</p> <p>GENERAL OVERVIEW</p> <p>Prepares hot and cold foods in accordance with regulatory standards.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Prepares and produces hot and cold food items for assigned areas and for special requests according to departmental standards/policy and in accordance with pre-established task assignments. (35%) </li><li>Utilizes proper food handling and food storage techniques when receiving, rotating, storing and preparing food in accordance with HAACP and other regulatory standards. (25%) </li><li>Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods and required chemicals. Complies with all safety and infection control guidelines. (30%) </li><li>Coordinates and communicates portioning guidelines and food set-up of all items presented for service.
