<p>Location: Indianapolis, IN, United States</p> <p>Share:</p> <p>Quick Apply Now</p> <p>Save Job Saved</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <ul> <li>Territory will consist of the following counties- Hendricks, Boone, Tipton and Hamilton.* </li></ul> <p>This position is responsible for generating profit and market share through the selling of a range of product solutions within an established territory to new and existing customers.</p> <p>Position Duties/Responsibilities</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Establish, develop and maintain relationships daily with current and potential customers within the assigned territory through phone calls, cold-calls, in-person visits and presentations. </li><li>Generate revenue and market share through product sales within assigned territory according to pre-established sales goals and gross profit objectives. </li><li>Achievement of monthly/quarterly/yearly sales and gross profit budget goals </li><li>Educate customers on our products and services through product specifications, demonstrations and presentations. </li><li>Maintain a team based approach to all activities to ensure sales, service, and support staff goals are obtained </li><li>Ensure Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is updated daily </li><li>Participate in trade shows and various associations pertinent to the market </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>No formal responsibility for supervising others </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>3 years or more of experience in construction equipment, preferably Caterpillar equipment </li><li>Knowledge of Caterpillar products </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree with a business related concentration </li><li>5 years or more of experience in Caterpillar construction equipment sales </li><li>Experience working with municipalities </li><li>Knowledge of full range of products.
