<p>Summary</p> <p>Reports to the Director, Physician Recruiting. Assists the Director with recruiting functions in order to recruit and retain physicians. Provides administrative assistance including communications and paperwork associated with candidate search, screening candidates, reporting, contract and expense monitor and tracking, and preparation of candidate paperwork and files. Creates and supports recruiting itineraries by assisting with travel arrangements, setting-up interview schedules and arranging candidate visits.</p> <p>MISSION, VALUES and SERVICE GOALS</p> <ul> <li>MISSION: We deliver outstanding care, inspire health, and connect with heart. </li><li>VALUES: Trust. Be on their team. </li></ul> <p>Provides assistance with the recruitment process by:</p> <ul> <li>Working with Director to profile positions and develop practice opportunity descriptions. </li><li>Maintaining a current list of position openings, and providing monthly updates or as needed by the client. Maintains a weekly status list of all candidates on active searches. </li><li>Assisting Director with candidate interview process, as needed, to include telephone coordination and confirmation with both the candidate and the client. </li><li>Assembling and distributing all collateral materials for physician recruitment. </li><li>Assisting with the facilitation of the site visit for the physician candidate and spouse/significant other. </li><li>Developing and maintaining an effective working knowledge of local physician employment agreements, employment process, offer packages, compensation and benefits to answer candidate questions. </li><li>Establishing high reach work objectives, personally tracks and reports on performance. </li><li>Assisting in the design, order, stocking of physician recruitment literature, packets, and brochures. </li><li>Assisting with the documentation needed for the completion of the credentialing process. This may include but is not limited to references, background check, license verification and other screening as needed. </li><li>Assisting with candidate reimbursement process for incidental expenses incurred by candidate or spouse. </li><li>Assisting with the physician relocation, as needed. </li><li>Supporting the Director with all recruiting efforts in order to recruit and retain physicians. </li></ul> <p>Performs other functions to maintain personal competence and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the department by:</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining good working relationships with all System and Hospital departments. </li><li>Communicating with the Physician Recruitment Director in a timely, manner, regarding possible problems. </li><li>Completing other job-related assignments and special projects as assigned. </li></ul> <p>ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Associate complies with the following organizational requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Attends and participates in department meetings and is accountable for all information shared. </li><li>Completes mandatory education, annual competencies and department specific education within established timeframes. </li><li>Completes annual employee health requirements within established timeframes. </li><li>Maintains license/certification, registration in good standing throughout fiscal year. </li><li>Direct patient care providers are required to maintain current BCLS (CPR) and other certifications as required by position/department. </li><li>Consistently utilizes appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to protect patient and self. </li><li>Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance. </li><li>Complies with established organization and department policies. </li><li>Available to work overtime in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required. </li></ul> <p>Commitment to Beacon's six-point Operating System, referred to as The Beacon Way:</p> <ul> <li>Leverage innovation everywhere. </li><li>Cultivate human talent. </li><li>Embrace performance improvement. </li><li>Build greatness through accountability. </li><li>Use information to improve and advance. </li><li>Communicate clearly and continuously. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of a high school diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of two years responsible administrative, recruitment, project management, or other relevant work experience is required. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge & Skills</p> <ul> <li>Requires well developed administrative skills to multi-task, plan and prioritize a large volume of detail-oriented work in accordance with changing deadlines. </li><li>Requires ability to work with minimum supervision, set priorities, and follow through to accomplish results. </li><li>Requires proficiency in the utilization of Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to conduct Internet research in an efficient, productive manner. </li><li>Requires strong customer service, organization and analytical skills needed to gather and organize information, prepare reports, and complete projects in a timely manner. </li><li>Demonstrates well-developed communication skills (both verbal and written) necessary to communicate clearly and professionally to present practice opportunities in a positive manner. Also requires excellent grammar and proofreading skills. </li><li>Demonstrates the high-level interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively and positively with candidates, physicians, management, staff and others. Also requires the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships. </li><li>Demonstrates ability to ensure confidentiality and exhibits discretion and sound judgment when making decisions and responding to questions and requests for information. </li><li>Requires a valid driver's license and means of transportation. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Works in an office environment. </li><li>Work is performed in a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Requires the physical ability and stamina to perform the essential functions of the position. </li></ul>
