Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.</p> <p>Other information:</p> <p>Other Information</p> <p>Required Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 8 years' experience. </li><li>Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Program. </li><li>Registered by the ARRT. </li><li>Current Active Illinois State License. </li><li>Current CPR. </li><li>Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with all hospital personnel and work in a team-oriented environment. </li><li>Verbal and written skills necessary to facilitate communication with a variety of personal. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidential information. </li><li>Ability to take call on rotation (include weekdays, weekends and Holidays, arrival time for STEM! in 30 min.). </li></ul> <p>Preferred Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree or bachelor's degree. </li><li>ACLS desirable (if no ACLS highly recommended to acquire in 6 months-I year after hire date). </li><li>CV, RCIS or RCES certified or eligible for certification </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <p>Requires full range body motion including handling and lifting patients as necessary</p> <p>Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Receives and reviews requests for diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in the Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiac Cath and Special Procedure Department. </li><li>Accepts patients and assesses their condition to determine proper handling and special requirements. </li><li>Explains and prepares the patient for all cardiac and/or interventional radiology procedures. </li><li>Prepares procedural table and/or room per department procedures as indicated by protocol. </li><li>Relies on extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and effects of disease processes to properly and safely position the patient for maximum diagnosis. </li><li>Operates highly complex equipment within the departments, selecting technical factors to ensure high-quality radiographs using the A.LA.R.A. standards. </li><li>Vast knowledge of sterile technique, various, catheters and equipment to independently assist physician table side during the procedure. </li><li>Performs diagnostic electrophysiology procedures and interventions. Assists with lab EP lab analysis and interpretation of data keeping Physicians/Specialists informed. </li><li>Assists physicians with pacing implementation and other permanent devices related to heart and cardiac health. </li><li>Documents exams, transmits images, and charges accurately. </li><li>Maintains equipment and rooms in proper working condition.
