<p>Description</p> <p>Exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced medical team within a growing federally qualified community health center. HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. "The Heart of Our Community" provides comprehensive services including adult/pediatric medical care, health education, health assessment and screenings, gynecology, cardiology, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and adult/pediatric dental care.</p> <p>Behavioral Health Director Summary</p> <p>The Behavioral Health Director plays a key role in ensuring that the Behavioral Health team provides coordinated, accessible care to persons with behavioral health and substance use disorders. The Behavioral Health Director will provide direct supervision of the daily operations of the Behavioral Health program including the Office Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) Program. The Behavioral Health Director provides leadership to program and oversees all aspects of the program development and implementation.</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Licensed as a LICSW in Massachusetts is required </li><li>1-3 years of prior relevant supervisory experience is required </li><li>5 years of experience working with clients experiencing substance use disorders is preferred </li><li>Satisfactory completion of continuing education credits as mandated by profession boards, licensing agencies or credentialing organizations </li><li>Maintain a current certification in BLS at the healthcare provider level </li><li>Strong computer knowledge preferred </li><li>Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese preferred </li><li>Must submit a CORI Release Form and demonstrate proof of being free from disqualifying information </li></ul> <p>Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and critical thinking skills to communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, medical/dental providers, management staff, other staff members and outside agencies </li><li>Superior customer service and a strengths-based approach to working with patients and staff. Projects positive attitude about the department and the health center </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team </li><li>Ability to manage confidential information in a professional manner </li><li>Flexible to meet clinic needs and manage often-unpredictable changes </li><li>Understanding of behavioral health billing requirements and opportunities </li><li>Motivated, independent, initiative-taker, detail-oriented and accurate </li></ul> <p>All requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
