<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Litchfield Center School</p> <p>Position: Anticipated Vacancy - School Security Personnel - Armed</p> <p>Start Date: ASAP</p> <p>Regional School District No. 20 is seeking qualified applicants for a School Security Personnel - Armed, effective immediately.</p> <p>This is a 10-month school year, 40 hours per week position with full benefit package.</p> <p>The School Security Personnel is responsible for monitoring the safety of the students, staff, and visitors using the school building/facilities.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Must be or have been a qualified Law Enforcement Officer under LEOSA (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act) and have served as a law enforcement officer for an aggregate of 10 years or more.</p> <p>During the most recent 12 - month period, has met, at the expense of the individual, the standards for qualification in firearms training for active Law Enforcement Officers.</p> <p>Must not be prohibited by federal or state law from receiving a firearm.</p> <p>Salary & Benefits:</p> <p>Per the Region 20 AFSCME negotiated agreement</p> <p>Application Process:</p> <p>All applicants must apply online at: rsd20.org</p> <p>Navigate to Departments > Human Resources > Employment Opportunities</p>
