Driven by a mission to serve a diverse patient population, our team utilizes a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to diagnostic assessment and treatment planning.</p> <p>Due to exciting clinical growth, we are seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Psychologist to join our team at our Northbrook clinical location. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a deep drive to serve patients, and exceptional organization and time management skills. This role requires a broad skill set in neurodevelopmental disorders, excellent behavioral management of children, and a comprehensive knowledge of both neuropsychology and general psychology to help families navigate complex developmental paths.</p> <p>Position Details</p> <ul> <li>You will join a collaborative group of clinical psychologists. </li><li>This is a 100% outpatient-based role. </li><li>Fully based at our outpatient location in Northbrook, IL. </li><li>Work closely with specialized behavioral health staff, pediatrics, neurology, and developmental medicine divisions across the Rush System. </li><li>Engage with a vibrant academic community that includes an established didactic training program, internal fellowship programs, and ongoing research initiatives </li></ul> <p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No inpatient rounding or call responsibilities. </li><li>Primarily serving children and young adults presenting with a broad range of neurodevelopmental conditions, with occasional adult assessments as needed. </li><li>Full time clinical role, spanning a balanced mix of clinical intakes, specialized testing blocks, and family feedback sessions. </li><li>Participation in teaching as part of the department's didactic program is available and encouraged, though not strictly required. </li><li>Opportunities are available to engage in research projects, though independent research or external funding is not a mandatory requirement for this clinical line. </li></ul> <p>Rush University System for Health is an academic health system integrating patient care, education, research, and community partnerships to improve health in diverse communities.</p> <p>Rush includes Rush University Medical Center, Rush University (2,500+ students across medical, nursing, and health sciences colleges), Rush Copley Medical Center, Rush Oak Park Hospital, and regional outpatient facilities.</p> <p>Rush is recognized for clinical excellence, earning placement on U.S. News & World Report's Best Hospitals Honor Roll 2025-2026 (top 20 of 5,000+ hospitals evaluated). The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role, as well as additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets.
