<p>Job Description</p> <p>Performs performance assurance inspections, installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of medical instrumentation and systems of or more categories of Biomedical instrumentation.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Schedules and performs preventive maintenance, performance assurance testing, electrical safety inspections, and schedules repairs to correct failed equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Repairs and calibrates equipment to bring them up to the original manufacturers specifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts analyses to identify symptoms, definition of problems, option comparisons, appropriate solutions, implementation, and evaluation of results.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides in-service education to staff on equipment operation and safety.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for providing mentoring and training to level one and two Biomedical Electronic Technicians.</p> </li><li> <p>BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position.
