This role serves as a key point of contact for patients and families, ensuring a positive and professional experience while facilitating efficient access to services.</p> <p>Does this position require Patient Care?</p> <p>No</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Greet patients and families in a professional, courteous, and welcoming manner</p> <p>Accurately collect, verify, and enter patient demographic and insurance information into the electronic medical record (EMR)</p> <p>Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and pre-authorization requirements prior to services</p> <p>Ensure completeness and accuracy of all patient registration information to support billing and compliance requirements</p> <p>Obtain required signatures for consent, financial responsibility, and authorization forms</p> <p>Identify and resolve insurance discrepancies, eligibility issues, and billing-related concerns</p> <p>Provide clear communication to patients regarding registration, insurance, and financial processes</p> <p>Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner</p> <p>Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality</p> <p>Collaborate with clinical staff, billing teams, and other departments to ensure seamless patient access and workflow</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Skills & Competencies</p> <p>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry</p> <p>Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism</p> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</p> <p>Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment</p> <p>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues independently</p> <p>Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, EMR systems, etc.)</p> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>Office/clinical front desk environment</p> <p>Frequent interaction with patients, families, and staff</p> <p>May require extended periods of sitting, standing, and computer use</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
