Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Participates in, design and develop scalable and resilient systems using Java or Python to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams </li><li>Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting </li><li>Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems </li><li>Produces or contributes to architecture and design artifacts for applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development </li><li>Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems </li><li>Identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture </li><li>Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies </li><li>Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience </li><li>Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, security and operational stability </li><li>Advanced proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, as well as experience with testing frameworks. </li><li>Solid understanding of lower-level design principles in JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience in optimizing JavaScript compilation for scalability and versatility, as well as building command-line interfaces (CLI), is essential. </li><li>Strong background in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or NodeJS is also required. </li><li>Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability </li><li>Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) </li><li>Practical cloud native experience with AWS services, like ECS, Fargate, SNS, SQS, and RDS Postgres </li><li>Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, security scans and automation tools. </li><li>Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and design patterns such as micro frontends </li><li>AWS Certification(s) (Associate or above) </li></ul>
