We're bringing together the people, ideas and capital that nurture progress and growth, helping to create a better world - for our customers, our people, our investors, our communities and the planet we all share.</p> <p>As a Client Service Specialist, Derivatives Clearing Services, you will be responsible for the management of all client responsibilities from onboarding through the daily activities addressing inquiries, issues, and request in a timely and professional manner. You will also partner with sales and execution to understand client profiles to be able to offer a high level of customer service as well as identify potential revenue streams.</p> <p>As our Client Service Specialist, Derivatives Clearing Services you will:</p> <ul> <li>Handle queries and exceptions related to Margin settlements </li><li>Address any issues or inquiries from clients or front office including trade breaks, commission issues, foreign exchange conversions, etc </li><li>Proactively advise clients of deliverable positions approaching expiry ensuring they understand the timelines and risk involved </li><li>Regularly contact and meet clients to better understand their needs and address HSBC service performance correcting any gaps with improved procedures and oversight </li><li>Liaise with front office sales and execution concerning client activity looking to identify potential revenue opportunities and increases in service. Work with clients to understand needs around reporting, margin settlement, products, deliveries, Futures Direct etc </li><li>Act as a point person for all key clients working on any project initiatives resulting in a stronger foothold with clients, as well as assist client with regulatory setups and ensure exchange setups are complete (Globex trader registration, memberships) </li><li>Identify firms that will execute for the client and work with them to set up Electronic Give-Up System (EGUS) agreements. Ensure client onboarding and commission setups are complete in the internal trade processing system </li><li>Client facing role will meet with and work directly with clients requiring independent decision making </li><li>Follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy </li></ul> <p>For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $93,700.00 and $140,600.00</p> <p>The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.</p> <p>At HSBC, our overall goal is to provide a competitive Total Reward Package, with an appropriate mix of fixed pay, and variable pay, as part of an employee's overall total compensation and benefits.
