<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Rope Access Level I Technician is responsible for performing various crafts while accessing area via ropes. A Rope Access Level I Technician may only work under the direct, on-site supervision of a Rope Access Lead Technician or Supervisor (Level II or Level III).</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>(This is a representative list of the duties the position may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive.)</p> <ul> <li>Have an unwavering commitment to Safety </li><li>Conduct behavioral based safety observations </li><li>Participate in daily JSEA planning discussion </li><li>Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a SPRAT or IRATA Level I RA Technician </li><li>Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques </li><li>Ensure operational safety of all equipment </li><li>Assist other technicians as required </li><li>Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by supervision or management </li><li>Actively participate in client programs, planning and strategy sessions </li><li>Actively participate in client safety initiatives, incident investigations, etc. </li><li>Demonstrates strong adherence to Company policies and procedures, as well as Company values </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent education </li><li>Must possess an active SPRAT or IRATA Level I Certification </li><li>Must demonstrate proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling </li><li>Valid TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card) </li><li>Basic written and verbal skills </li><li>Ability to perform work accurately </li><li>Must be reliable and have good time management skills </li><li>Physically and mentally fit </li><li>Ability to work productively in adverse conditions </li><li>Preferred technician with a combined knowledge & experience reading blueprints, adjusting, assembling, fabricating, & bolting components together </li><li>For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen </li><li>For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services </li></ul>
