The Press Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of presses to produce high-quality products efficiently. Join our team and be part of a dynamic work environment where your skills are valued and developed.</p> <p>Hours: 4:00pm -2:00am Monday thru Thursday and Fridays as needed to meet production requirements. A 10% shift differential is offered for this role.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Set up and operate press machines according to job specifications </li><li>Monitor production to ensure quality standards are met </li><li>Perform routine maintenance on presses </li><li>Troubleshoot issues with equipment and make adjustments as needed </li><li>Inspect finished products for defects </li><li>Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma, GED or equivalent required </li><li>Experience in press operation or similar manufacturing roles preferred </li><li>Proficiency in programming and operating press machines preferred </li><li>Good mechanical aptitude and skills - troubleshooting skills </li><li>Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations </li><li>Strong work ethic safety conscious, and team player </li><li>Familiarity with quality control processes </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time </li><li>Regularly work around moving machinery and heavy equipment </li><li>Frequently required to push/pull </li><li>Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds </li><li>Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch </li><li>Regularly use vision abilities including close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus </li></ul>
