<p>We are seeking an Optical Validation & Test Lead to lead validation of next-generation fiber optic transceivers and optical engines for AI infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in optical module test, test software development, and high-speed optical link validation. The ideal candidate will build a scalable optical test framework used across teams, drive validation through EVT and DVT, and support the reliability team with characterization and failure analysis. • Lead validation strategy and execution for optical engines and fiber optic transceivers used in AI systems. • Build reusable automated optical test frameworks, software, and data analysis tools across teams. • Develop and execute test plans for EVT, DVT, and reliability support. • Characterize and validate key metrics including Tx/Rx performance, BER, eye quality, TDECQ, sensitivity, optical power, wavelength stability, thermal performance, and power. • Drive root-cause debug across optics, high-speed electrical interfaces, firmware, and test infrastructure. • Partner with design, systems, manufacturing, and reliability teams to improve validation coverage and design-for-test.</p> <ul> <li>MS or PhD in Optical Engineering, Photonics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience. • Extensive experience in optical module validation and test, ideally for fiber optic transceivers or optical engines. • Strong background in automated test software development and lab automation. • Deep knowledge of high-speed optical links, including transceiver/module characterization in data center or AI networking applications. • Experience supporting EVT, DVT, and reliability qualification. • Proficiency with tools such as Python, lab instrumentation, and automated test systems. Salary range: $211,000 - $356,000 annually. Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
