<p>Job Title: Part-Time Instructional Faculty - Physician Assistant Program Job Description Summary:</p> <p>Instructional Faculty in the Physician Assistant Program are responsible for delivering high-quality didactic, laboratory, and/or clinical skills instruction that supports the Program's mission, learning outcomes, and accreditation standards. Faculty in this role contribute clinical expertise, evidence-based teaching, and learner-centered instruction to prepare PA students for competent, ethical, and patient-centered practice.</p> <p>Instructional Faculty work collaboratively with Program leadership and faculty to support curriculum delivery while adhering to institutional policies and accreditation requirements.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program. </li><li>Current NCCPA certification (PA-C). </li><li>Eligibility for licensure or current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Michigan. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience in the instructional content area. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in an academic environment. </li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods during laboratory or skills-based instruction. </li><li>Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. </li><li>Ability to demonstrate clinical skills and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prior teaching experience in PA, medical, or allied health education. </li><li>Experience with lecturing or clinical skills teaching. </li><li>Familiarity with competency-based education, assessment strategies, and educational technology. </li></ul> <p>Special Instructions to Applicants: Oakland University Standard Language</p> <p>Oakland University is a nationally recognized doctoral university of high research activity located on 1,443 acres of scenic land in the cities of Rochester Hills and Auburn Hills in Oakland County, Michigan.
