mid-quarter reports before they go home to families</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare standardized testing schedules, and inventory for standardized testing in a combined effort with the administrative assistant</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee homework, class work, projects, tests, for teachers in Illuminate or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Report weekly at administration meeting any teachers who are not using Illuminate or equivalent properly</p> </li><li> <p>Review student progress at the end of each quarter and notify parents of students on academic probation</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain list of high honor/honor students</p> </li></ul> <p>School Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Assist in organization of school improvement plan with staff, parents and community members </li></ul> <p>Personnel Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Hold teacher evaluation conferences based on records of performance evaluation</p> </li><li> <p>Administration and Fiscal/Facilities Management</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee school operations in Principal's absence</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in scheduling student activities by participating in the development of class schedules, teacher assignments and extracurricular activity schedules</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee student attendance records and assist the office manager on truancy issues</p> </li><li> <p>Aid in safety drill practices and inspections</p> </li></ul> <p>Staff Development</p> <ul> <li> <p>Hold teacher orientation and in-service training throughout the year</p> </li><li> <p>Regularly prepare items for staff development for weekly faculty meetings and attend weekly administrative meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Conference with teachers on academic issues in the classroom</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct formal and informal teacher observations</p> </li></ul> <p>Student Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide for supervision of students during non-instructional hours</p> </li><li> <p>Help students develop positive behavior through a student discipline management system</p> </li><li> <p>Provide for uniform enforcement of school rules and oversee appropriate and reasonable student discipline</p> </li><li> <p>Hold parent/teacher/student conferences regarding student and school issues</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate use of productive and efficient skills to raise community and parent involvement</p> </li></ul> <p>Supervision</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise teachers with their before/after school and lunch duties</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise at transition periods, lunch, before and after school</p> </li></ul> <p>Discipline</p> <ul> <li> <p>Oversee discipline issues for teachers in Illuminate or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate and chair the Charter School's Restorative Justice Committee</p> </li></ul> <p>Support Services</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise safety and welfare of students</p> </li><li> <p>Manage support services including transportation, custodial and cafeteria</p> </li></ul> <p>Communication</p> <ul> <li>
