Combee Rd., Lakeland, Florida 33803.</p> <p>Resumes may also be submitted to hr@adenacorporation.com.</p> <ul> <li>Must be authorized to work in the United States </li><li>Drug-Free Workplace </li></ul> <p>Estimating</p> <ul> <li>This is a unique hybrid position that combines the analytical challenge of estimating with the hands-on leadership of project management </li><li>Develop accurate and well-organized estimates and proposals for commercial concrete projects in a timely manner. </li><li>Complete clear and detailed material, equipment, and labor take-offs for concrete, rebar, and formwork. </li><li>Analyze plans, specifications, bid documents, and addenda to determine scope and cost impacts. </li><li>Organize subcontractor and supplier quotations, evaluate scope alignment, negotiate pricing, and issue properly documented purchase orders or subcontract agreements. </li><li>Maintain unit pricing, production rates, and cost databases. </li><li>Identify potential risks, value engineering opportunities, and construction sequencing considerations. </li><li>Review job sites when necessary to gather information for estimating and project planning. </li><li>Operate company estimating software to develop estimates and bids </li></ul> <p>Project Management</p> <ul> <li>Assist with project schedules, budgets, and pre-construction planning upon project award. </li><li>Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is planned efficiently. </li><li>Attend pre-construction meetings, site visits, and client coordination meetings. </li><li>Prepare and process RFIs, submittals, scope clarifications, and change orders. </li><li>Maintain professional communication and relationships with clients and project stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Desired qualifications/skills:</p> <ul> <li></li><li>5+ years concrete construction experience required, with emphasis on estimating and/or project management. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret plans, technical specifications, and structural drawings. </li><li>Strong understanding of concrete construction methods, material requirements, and cost impacts. </li><li>Experience with Bluebeam, or similar industry software preferred. </li><li>Strong math and analytical skills </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. </li><li>Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Must be detail oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities. </li><li>High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
