<p>Zachary Piper Solutions is currently looking for a Systems Technician II to support one of our clients on-site in Timonium MD, Frederick MD, or Germantown MD.. The Systems Technician II role will involve installing, programming, and maintaining advanced RF systems, with an emphasis on troubleshooting Motorola P25 trunking networks and related equipment.</p> <p>This job opens for applications on 12/3/25. Applications for this job will be accepted for at least 30 days from the posting date.</p> <p>Responsibilities for the Systems Technician II include:</p> <ul> <li>Install, program, and maintain P25 communication equipment </li><li>Design and upgrade customer systems </li><li>Support customers and sales teams with quotes, bids, and installation schedules </li><li>Provide Acceptance Test Plans and document site survey results </li><li>Modify electronic circuitry and deploy factory software/firmware updates </li><li>Troubleshoot backend radio applications (repeaters, base stations, duplexers) </li></ul> <p>Qualifications for the Systems Technician II include:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED (Associates preferred, or Motorola certifications) </li><li>4+ years of experience with; 2-way Motorola radios, Land Mobile Radios, P25 trunking systems, and RF troubleshooting of P25 networks </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot digital systems </li><li>Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S Government Public Trust Clearance. </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the Systems Technician II include:</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 <em>depending on experience</em> </li><li>Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays </li></ul> <p>Keywords: Motorola RF, P25 Trunking, Land Mobile Radios, RF troubleshooting, BDA DAS, Public Safety Communications, Timonium MD</p> <p>#LI-FR1</p> <p>#LI-ONSITE</p>
