From designing resilient highways and iconic bridges to advancing transit, passenger and freight rail, aviation, federal transportation ports and marine infrastructure, your work will directly support economic vitality, public safety, sustainable and resilient communities and quality of life. We bring together planners, engineers, architects, construction management staff, environmental, strategic communications, economists, management consultants and specialists across disciplines to solve complex mobility challenges with innovation, technical excellence, and a deep understanding of community needs. We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the world.</p> <p>In the role of Proposal Manager, we'll count on you to:</p> <ul> <li>Support pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies (capture planning) </li><li>Facilitate pursuit teams to develop persuasive proposal and interview materials </li><li>Develop and manage proposal schedules and confirm compliance </li><li>Engage the appropriate marketing services resources in pursuit teams </li><li>Lead quality reviews of proposal and interview materials </li><li>Facilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and to measure overall competitiveness </li><li>Deconstruct and file proposal and presentation material upon submittal </li><li>Train and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practices </li><li>Articulate HDR's capabilities and competitive advantages </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a related field </li><li>Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional services </li><li>Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others </li><li>Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in-person </li><li>Demonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staff </li><li>Preference given to local candidates </li></ul> <p>#LI-JC7</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience </li><li>Demonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight </li><li>Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint </li><li>Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign </li></ul> <p>What We Believe</p> <p>HDR is our company.
