<p>POSITION: Systems Technician</p> <p>LOCATION: District Wide</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:</p> <ul> <li>Assists teachers with integrating technology into curriculum and classroom instruction. </li><li>Conducts staff development on various hardware and software topics. </li><li>Assists staff in the delivery of student technology proficiency programs and applications. </li><li>Provides computer and technical support for teachers in one-to-one and group settings. </li><li>Inventories existing computers, software and peripheral equipment. </li><li>Attends additional training sessions and regularly scheduled coach meetings. </li><li>Performs basic maintenance and troubleshooting on malfunctioning equipment and determines working and non-working equipment. Reports technology maintenance issues via technician trouble tracking system. </li><li>Provides ongoing technical support for administrative technology processes, such as Student Information System, media automation, PowerTeacher Gradebook, etc. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to relate to a variety of diverse professional users and foster positive working relationships. </li><li>Competence in the use, diagnosis and maintenance in the current Windows and iOS. operating system and applications. </li><li>Functional use of Microsoft 365 applications and Apple products. </li><li>Familiarity with enterprise networks. </li><li>High school diploma or GED; AA related degree is preferred. </li><li>Hold a valid driver's license. </li></ul> <p>SALARY:</p> <p>This is a 198-day position.
