<p>Job Description</p> <p>Pest Control I - Greenwood, FL</p> <p>This is a full-time, hourly position.</p> <p>Responsibilities, Duties and Job Expectations</p> <p>We are looking for a motivated, safety conscious individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities with Procurement at the Golden Peanut Co. Greenwood, Fl. facility.</p> <p>Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Checking warehouses and manage pest control in those warehouses </li><li>Checking bait stations at Greenwood, Fl. facility and surrounding Golden Peanut Co. owned buying points </li><li>Seal warehouses and participate in fumigation activities </li><li>Manage inventory of pest control items, to include some hazardous materials </li><li>Drive a company vehicle over 10,000lbs but under 26,000lbs </li><li>Assist in general operation of the Golden Peanut facility in Greenwood, Fl. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:</p> <ul> <li>Possession or ability to obtain a Pest Control Applicators license and CDL with a HAZMAT endorsement </li><li>Possess and maintain a valid driver's license </li><li>Ability to drive various heavy equipment </li><li>Ability to travel (rarely over night) </li><li>Previous farm work is a plus </li><li>Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures </li><li>Exhibit regular and prompt attendance </li><li>Able to meet physical requirements of this position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of sitting or standing, kneeling, bending, working in high areas, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of condition, such as heat, cold, dust, lift up to 55lbs. unassisted, shovel and rake different materials </li><li>Be willing to work weekends, holidays and overtime if necessary </li><li>Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting as needed </li><li>Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude </li></ul> <p>We care about our people.
