<p>General Function:</p> <p>Duties of Position (Include but not limited to):</p> <p>Reception</p> <p>Answer phones</p> <p>Greet visitors</p> <p>Special projects</p> <p>Assist faculty/staff/students,</p> <p>Schedule appointments</p> <p>Check-in/intake of students</p> <p>Make copies</p> <p>Data entry</p> <p>Give directions</p> <p>General Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Provide general office assistance as determined by the division </li><li>Answer phones </li><li>Greet visitors and students at front desk </li><li>Assist students, faculty and staff with daily tasks and special projects </li><li>Perform other office duties as needed </li></ul> <p>Schedule Information:</p> <p>Work schedule will be determined based on student's availability. Must have some availability to work during the following weekday hours:</p> <p>Monday: 8:00am - 4:30pm</p> <p>Tuesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm</p> <p>Wednesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm</p> <p>Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm</p> <p>Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm</p> <p>Maximum hours per week:</p> <p>20 hours</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <p>In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student and registered for a minimum of 6 credit hours for each semester (fall/spring) you are working. For the summer session, student aides must be registered for at least 3 credit hours in summer or at least 6 credit hours for the following fall semester. Be eligible for English 097 or higher.</p> <p>Experience Requirements:</p> <p>Some general office or customer service experience preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
