Under limited supervision, the NA-CLTM EEG Specialist performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care and achieve desired outcomes including EEG affiliated Tele EEG and RHN sites. This role provides leadership and education to EEG Technicians and Trainees at MUSC, MUSC RHN sites and Tele EEG Sites. Facilitates and develops education for Neurology Residents and Fellows. Patients seen include neonate, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. The NA-CLTM EEG Specialist supports the Clinical Neurophysiology Services department and Medical Center goals.</p> <p>Additional Job Description</p> <p>Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited program of Electroneurodiagnostic (END) technology or the equivalent and registered as an EEG Technician by ABRET required and must be maintained. Certified Long Term Monitoring Technician by ABRET required. Five years of EEG Technician work experience required.
