Learn more at irco.com and join us to own your future.</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting materials and products, providing quality support through knowledge of inspection procedures and tools, identify deviations, work with production team members to document non-conforming materials, and communicate with teams within in a manufacturing facility. A Quality Inspector works with a team to ensure all products meet established quality standards. The ideal candidate is adaptable, a team player, a great communicator, and can meet deadlines by prioritizing multiple tasks/projects.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform inspection of in-house production, vendor supplied parts, or final products </li><li>Interpret engineering drawings/specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) </li><li>Identify and document defects, deviations, or non-conforming items </li><li>Operate Positive Material Identification (PMI) Gun to check materials against specifications </li><li>Ensure inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained and report issues </li><li>Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve daily and monthly targets </li><li>Perform quality checks by established quality procedures and ISO requirements </li><li>Maintain accurate records of inspection results, quality control data, and non-conforming products. Generate reports and documentation as required </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>1+ year experience in Quality Control or Quality Inspector experience </li></ul> <p>Core Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Teamwork, Communication, Collaboration </li><li>Efficiency, Productivity, Accuracy </li><li>Integrity, Problem Solving, Detail Oriented, Results Driven </li><li>Time Management, Strategic Thinking, Adaptability </li></ul> <p>Preferences:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read and understand the bill of materials and work instructions, or technical drawings </li><li>Ability to operate precision tools such as micrometers, callipers, height and thread gauges, tape measure, level, etc. </li><li>Ability to lift a maximum of 40 lbs </li><li>Experience using CMM or other automated measurement/verification devices </li><li>Proficient computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials, SAP, and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel) </li></ul> <p>Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>This position will be based at our site in Enon, OH no travel. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range:</p> <ul> <li>Starting Pay will range between $23.00 - $27.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
