Additionally, this role will support cross functionally all operational departments on special projects, and customer technical requests as well as on-going safety and compliance programs.</p> <p>Key Responsibility:</p> <ul> <li>Engages and manages the line mechanics daily on technical support, machinery breakdown troubleshooting, downtime problem solving during production runs. </li><li>Management of maintenance technicians' activities based on well-defined priorities derived from production needs, including setup preparation and scheduled PM. </li><li>Take a position within the team as a facilitator for maintenance technicians as well as their internal clients. </li><li>Monitoring the completion of daily leader checklists, setup completion checklists, and mechanical execution evaluation boards. </li><li>Contributes to equipment optimization of the production workflow to increase efficiency and reduce waste. </li><li>Develops and improves manufacturing processes by monitoring production processes and adjusting parameters to maintain optimal performance. </li><li>Coordinates machine mechanics on performing per a scheduled Total Productive Maintenance (CMMS - Computerized Maintenance Management System) program to drive reliability </li><li>Identifies and assigns maintenance projects focused on reducing equipment downtime and operating costs. </li><li>Oversee and implement machine upgrades, installations and related capital projects to ensure maintenance team's ability to execute on daily production, projects and drive results. </li><li>Provides training, coaching, performance planning, and feedback to develop direct reports and skill set depth. </li><li>Actively participates and supports continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen Problem Solving and Rapid Improvement events. </li><li>Collects and analyzes production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. </li><li>Contributes to the development and management of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance. </li><li>Ensures team compliance with all applicable environmental, health, safety, and industrial regulations. </li><li>Other duties may apply as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in a related field preferred. </li><li>7+ years of experience in plant maintenance / engineering leadership role with proven leadership, ability to influence, & motivate others to excel. </li><li>Experience leading and driving change and utilizing lean tools. </li><li>Experience with implementing and coordinating a TPM program (CMMS - Computerized Maintenance Management System). </li><li>Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. </li><li>Computer competent in Microsoft Office Software such as Excel and Word. </li><li>Able to occasionally travel (less than 10%) in the US and Canada. </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $95,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $105,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
