We are seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and personable Inside Sales Representative - Field Solutions to serve as a trusted partner for our clients in the fields of surveying, drones, progress cameras, environment monitoring, and site access control solutions.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone who thrives in face-to-face customer interactions, demonstrates technical acumen, and understands the real-world application of field technologies on construction sites. The ideal candidate understands that tasks are made easier when using the right tool at the right time and takes pride in listening carefully to customer needs and challenges in order to recommend the most appropriate and effective solution.</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <ul> <li>This role is expected to be highly customer-facing and hands-on, serving as the bridge between OES Equipment's advanced field technology offerings and the construction professionals who rely on them. </li><li>The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying customer needs, guiding them to the right solution, and ensuring satisfaction through the entire equipment lifecycle-from consultation to deployment. </li></ul> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Build and sustain strong customer relationships through frequent site visits, demos, and solution consultations.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as a technical resource and sales consultant for customers across the following technologies:</p> </li><li> <p>Robotic total stations (Priority)</p> </li><li> <p>3D laser scanners and other reality capture solutions (Priority)</p> </li><li> <p>UAVs and various payloads</p> </li><li> <p>Video-based progress monitoring platforms</p> </li><li> <p>Site access control and security systems</p> </li><li> <p>Environmental monitoring and IoT</p> </li><li> <p>Understand project-specific needs and propose tailored equipment or service solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead product demonstrations and user onboarding sessions at client sites or remotely.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively track customer experience, satisfaction, and ongoing needs to anticipate future requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate closely with outside sales, field engineers, and vendor representatives to ensure successful integration of equipment into project workflows.</p> </li><li> <p>Stay current on evolving industry technology trends and serve as an internal advisor on implementation strategies.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Natural relationship-builder with a passion for solving problems and helping people. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to simplify technical concepts for non-experts. </li><li>Confident in engaging with jobsite personnel, project engineers, and superintendents. </li><li>Technically adept in modern surveying and scanning tools, construction software platforms, and drone operation. </li><li>Enthusiastic and patient with a customer-service mindset and a high degree of accountability. </li><li>Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial attitude and ability to work independently. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in field engineering, surveying, or reality capture required. </li><li>1+ years of experience in sales or customer support preferred. </li><li>FAA Part 107 certification and/or Surveyor-in-Training (S.I.T.) is a plus. </li><li>Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related field preferred. </li><li>Hands-on experience with Leica, Trimble, Topcon, Carlson, or similar technologies is highly desirable. </li><li>Construction supply and equipment industry knowledge preferred. </li><li>Experience with RentalMan (Wynne Software) is a plus. </li><li>Knowledge of Coupa (P2P software) is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed when handling demonstration or rental equipment. </li><li>Travel to job sites and client locations is expected (~25%). </li><li>Occasional fieldwork with equipment for demonstrations and troubleshooting is required. </li></ul> <p>#LI-ET1</p> <p>DPR Construction is a forward-thinking, self-performing general contractor specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects for the advanced technology, life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial markets.
