We believe when inclusion is fully embraced and empowered, creativity and knowledge emerge to deliver excellence, advancing the community that is uniquely Richemont Americas.</p> <p>Senior Credit Manager</p> <p>Richemont | Shelton, CT</p> <p>Reports to: Director of Credit & Treasury Operations</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>The Senior Credit Manager is responsible for managing and leading all aspects of credit and collections for our wholesale accounts in the US, Canada, and Latin America across all of our brands. The Senior Credit Manager manages key metric reporting and provides reporting and analysis to brands and the accounting team. This role actively partners with senior brand operational and finance leaders to optimize sales, manage risk, and maximize cash flow in order to meet company objectives.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities to streamline the existing credit and collection processes and activities, including closing and reporting, with a focus on automation and simplification to optimize and enhance efficiency through process improvement and the use of technology </li><li>Oversee the credit and collection accounts receivable management for all Maisons, including our jewelry, specialty watch and fashion & accessory brands </li><li>Manage credit support and reporting for brand leadership and operations teams in the U.S., Canada & Latin America markets, serving as the point of contact for 12+ Maisons selling to wholesale customers </li><li>Lead efforts to integrate newly acquired brands into Credit team's responsibilities and oversight </li><li>Develop and maintain effective relationships with key and high-risk customer accounts across all brands to ensure superior service and consistency </li><li>Escalate high-risk customers to the Director of Credit and partner with the Maisons and Finance controllers to create solutions to resolve and mitigate losses for our brands </li><li>Work with third-party collection agencies, brand finance teams, and legal to mitigate losses and recover monies owed and products when necessary </li><li>Identify and resolve accounts receivable (AR) related issues, including month-end balancing, billing issues, and credit hold/system issues. Provide accounting support for e-commerce and wholesale sales billing issues </li><li>Lead the month-end AR close process and prepare all related reporting, including AR Aging reports, Brand AR reports, Extended Terms Report, Deduction Reports, KPI Report, Celonis Average Day-to-Pay Report, DSO Analysis Reports, and other adhoc reporting to manage the team's AR responsibilities </li><li>Lead the performance of the 2 Assistant Credit Managers and 1 Credit Analyst, while supporting the entire Credit team, including cash application activities </li><li>Provide training and resources for new team hires, including policies, procedures, and brand support needs. Serve as a continuous resource for all Credit Analysts with respect to SAP, master data & sales tax-related matters </li><li>Monitor and report on key performance indicators for 7 credit analysts to drive superior service in support of our brands, ensure a balanced workload, and to enable the achievement of the team's objectives </li><li>Assess credit risk for new customers and review and approve credit limit-related requests </li><li>Collaborate with the brand management team (e.g., Customer Service, Sales & Distribution and Brand Presidents) on sales strategies, order release, and collection issues </li><li>Ensure adherence with all internal control policies and procedures, including unclaimed property/escheatment, resale tax exemption, and anti-money laundering (AML) </li><li>Lead the management of all external audit requests related to wholesale AR. This includes working with brands to obtain proper backup for sales recognition, and collaborating internally with teams to provide all necessary documentation and responses for AR-related requests timely (e.g., payment, credit memos, proof of delivery) </li><li>Partner with IT for all credit process enhancements, including submitting SAP Enhancement Requests and implementing process improvements </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 10 years of accounts receivable and / credit-related experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance is strongly preferred </li><li>SAP experience is preferred </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including excellent excel skills </li><li>Continuous improvement mindset with experience in optimizing processes and deploying technology to automate and simplify activities to drive efficiency </li><li>Proactive and highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated initiative, reliability, and self-motivation to consistently meet deadlines </li><li>Proven leadership skills, including the ability to train, lead and motivate a team with experience tracking team KPIs </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of personnel, both internally and with external partners </li><li>Strong analytical, technical, and time-management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities </li></ul> <p>Richemont offers a generous compensation and benefits package for eligible employees.
