For questions, please contact Tracy Haggerty at tracy.haggerty@etcconnect.com or 608-824-5342.</p> <p>Representative Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Works with the project manager, drafters, customers, engineers, product managers, etc. to ensure that submittal packets are accurate, forward planned, and timely from the beginning of the project. </li><li>Lay out the system in an efficient and clear manner to make sure the system works as desired. </li><li>Ensures system meets customer requirements. </li><li>Thoroughly reviews bid documentation and quoted material for accuracy and compatibility. </li><li>Provides feedback to quotations staff on areas for improvement on systems quotes </li><li>Successfully translates the documented control intent into a complete and working system using ETC products that is clearly and completely documented for hand-off to Applications Engineering, Drafting, and PM staff. </li><li>Research inconsistencies or errors in the bid documents and quote, resolves them, and documents any changes in an effort to provide an accurate submittal package. </li><li>Strong desire to understand how best to communicate to other departments to provide a clear and concise layout package. </li><li>Establishes and maintains relationships with ETC dealers, reps, and consultants and ETC product management to ensure design intent, regardless of documentation, is met while conforming to ETC manufacturing capabilities. </li><li>Ensures ETC is projected in a professional and enthusiastic manner </li><li>Provides feedback to internal resources in regard to problems, concerns, or suggestions about products or processes received from specifiers or customers. </li><li>Informs customers of better options in design of projects, if applicable. </li><li>Outstanding customer service and communication skills </li><li>Must be able to work with limited supervision </li><li>Able to explain difficult technical concepts in easy-to-understand terms </li><li>Posses the ability to manage customer expectations in regard to product and design features while respecting the design intent of the specifier. </li><li>Maintain the ability to work within ETC drafting standards and also to know when and how to communicate deviations as needed. </li><li>Remains current on changes in policies, procedures, and product offerings </li><li>Ensures product knowledge is up to date </li><li>Works with PS management and PS Program Manager to review and improve existing procedures </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li><li>Complete special projects and requests in a timely and positive fashion </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors Degree or 8 years of comparable business experience in increasingly responsible positions in the related discipline </li><li>4-6 years of job-related experience </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks without general supervision. </li><li>Strong knowledge of entertainment lighting systems </li><li>Knowledge of high-powered electrical, digital and analog control systems </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills </li><li>Excellent customer service skills </li><li>Strong degree of flexibility and independence </li><li>Computer skills </li><li>Ability to prioritize based on project scope, timeline, and customer requests </li></ul>
