<p>Job Description:</p> <p>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Meet all expectations outlined in your current Position Description at the time you accepted and content covered in all training. </li><li>Serve in a 24-hour on-call rotation with other Winter Break staff for the break period. During times when you are on call, you will carry a duty phone and you must be able to respond within 15 minutes of being called. </li><li>Respond to student concerns and inappropriate behavior. </li><li>Assist the professional staff with administrative duties and tasks (i.e. maintenance issues, functional assignments, closing/opening procedures, and facilities walk-throughs etc.). </li></ul> <p>Duty Breakdown</p> <ul> <li>One Break student staff will always be on Duty. </li><li>This is when a student staff member is holding the duty phone. </li><li>The Break phone will be held 24/7 during break periods (however long the defined duration of the break). </li><li>Average Break Duty shifts are on a 1-day or 24-hour set basis split among Break student staff. </li><li>When on Duty, you need to be able to respond to a call anywhere on campus within 15-minutes. Typical calls include lock outs, fire alarms, facilities issues, item retrieval with non-break residents. </li><li>Conducting regular rounds of all campus residence halls during your primary days on duty. </li></ul> <p>Timeframe: Thursday, December 18, 2025 @ 4pm to Friday, January 16, 2026 @ 9am.</p> <p>REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS</p> <p>We are looking for three - four live-in student staff to be able to commit to the entire time frame listed above.</p> <p>Selected staff are compensated for the duration of the break with the equal amount of duty responsibilities.</p> <p>Total stipend for this role is $1000, split evenly among hired staff.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>At the time of the break period, you must currently be in a student staff live-in position (LRA, RA) for the Department of Housing & Residential Services.</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Total stipend for this role is $1,000, split evenly among hired staff.</p> <p>Application Instructions:</p> <p>Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume and be prepared to enter name/contact information for three professional references.</p> <p>Please click CONTACT US if you need assistance applying through this website.</p> <p>Please click here to login to check/edit your profile or to upload additional documents.</p>
