<p>General Summary Shore Physicians Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Neurosciences and Specialty Services to oversee the daily operations of our Neurosurgery, Neurology, Rheumatology, and Endocrinology service lines. Assist in the interview, hiring, and onboarding processes for specialty clinical and administrative staff. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and strategic goals to enhance service delivery across all specialty departments. Collaborate with the administrative team on operational planning, budgeting, and financial performance analysis. Oversee supply chain management including inventory control and procurement activities to meet or exceed budgetary goals. Ensure effective employee performance management, including mentorship, coaching, and corrective action processes as needed. Partner with Medical Office Supervisors and/or Leads to monitor and enhance operational workflows, focusing on maximizing clinical efficiency and patient outcomes. Lead initiatives to ensure optimal patient throughput, staff scheduling, and resource allocation based on volume projections and operational benchmarks. Promote adherence to Shore Physicians Group processes, workflows, and patient care standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements. Oversee payroll approval and timely submission of timesheets for all specialty departments. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and patient access metrics, proposing and implementing improvement strategies where needed. Champion continuous staff education on compliance, risk management, quality improvement initiatives, and organizational updates. Conduct regular staff meetings and facilitate daily operational huddles to ensure transparent communication across departments. Promote a culture of patient-centered care and service excellence. Coordinate specialty department support for organizational quality improvement projects and performance initiatives. Serve as a role model for staff, fostering teamwork, collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. Participate in and contribute to specialty service line growth strategies in collaboration with senior leadership. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor#s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field (required). At least 4 years# experience in managing Surgical and/Or Specialty based practices (required) Demonstrated success in managing multi-specialty physician practices or service lines. Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, regulations (including HIPAA and CMS standards), and revenue cycle processes. Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, lead, and develop multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems (Athena preferred). Knowledge of clinical workflows and patient access strategies in specialty care settings. Additional Skills Strong critical thinking and decision-making capabilities. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Skilled in conflict management and de-escalation techniques. Knowledge of healthcare quality improvement frameworks and patient experience enhancement strategies. Preferences EMR experience (Athenahealth strongly preferred). Experience leading specialty service lines in an academic-affiliated or multi-location practice setting. Why Join Us?
