<p>Job Summary :</p> <p>To provide to patients basic cardiopulmonary diagnostic services and facilitate patient care through timely reports to physicians in accordance with the Hospital and Departmental mission statements, policies and procedures.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Will follow Departmental, Hospital and Human Resources Policy & Procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Will assist with ED triage</p> </li><li> <p>Will, under the order of a physician, perform non-invasive cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures after completion of training and competency evaluation in ECG, rhythm strip, and heart</p> </li><li> <p>Will record short cardiopulmonary history on patients through the asking of questions relevant to testing or procedure to be performed.</p> </li><li> <p>Will maintain departmental statistical and individual productivity records.</p> </li><li> <p>Will process patient billing per procedure.</p> </li><li> <p>Will act as part of the cardiac rapid response team</p> </li><li> <p>Will use common sense and special medical skills to care for patients with regard to their age, diagnosis and physical abilities.</p> </li></ol> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the associate for this job.
