The position is responsible for coaching and providing direction to student-athletes and within the program.</p> <p>Season: August-October</p> <p>Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalency </li><li>CPR/First Aid Certified </li><li>Maintains a working knowledge of all district and MHSAA rules and regulations governing extra curricular activities </li><li>Previous High School bowling coaching preferred </li><li>Demonstrates the ability to work with students, parents and the community on fostering a positive environment for our student athletes </li><li>Proven positive role model regarding dress, appropriate use of language and appropriate physical contact </li><li>Ensures medical and safety guidelines are adhered to </li><li>Is punctual for all games and practices </li><li>Conducts him/herself in a professional and courteous manner with all players, parents, staff and officials </li><li>Consults with Athletic Director for all off season training programs </li><li>Work closely with the Athletic Department in the scheduling of practices/games </li><li>Promotes academics as a major part of the program </li><li>Communicates in a timely manner with Athletic Director, parents and players </li><li>Emphasizes sportsmanship </li><li>Daily Practice and/or competition availability from 2:00-5:00 PM </li></ul> <p>Please submit resume, along with references, to Tobias Tuomi, Athletic Director: tuomit@gardencityschools.com</p>
