<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.</p> <p>This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center, 1050 Ribaut Rd., Beaufort, SC 29902.</p> <p>Provides direct clinical services to children, adolescents and their families primarily in the school setting and as needed in the clinic setting. Provides assessments and crisis management, as well as individual, group and family therapy as needed. Insures documentation of all services provided following established standards.</p> <p>Provides consultation/education activities and case management on behalf of our consumers to community agencies as requested, under the supervision of the Clinic Director and the CAF Coordinator.</p> <p>Participates in weekly team staffings with other mental health professionals, as well as attend and participate in CAF staffings as scheduled.</p> <p>Provides consultation and assists in coordination of hospital admissions and placement of children and adolescents. Provides follow-up after discharge.</p> <p>Participates in school related activities such as PTO's, classroom presentations, and other extra-curricula-related activities in support of client (student) relations.</p> <p>Other: Provides other related duties and limited consultation/educational activities in the community upon request and approval by supervisor.</p> <p>Corporate Compliance: Demonstrates thorough understanding of corporate compliance issues and complies with all DMH and Center corporate compliance requirements.</p> <p>Coastal Empire CMHC is an approved site for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC), which offers student loan repayment of up to $50,000.00 to employees of NHSC - approved sites. You must be a US Citizen, you must be licensed to practice independently in the state where you are hired, and you must have unpaid government or commercial school loans. There is a two year service commitment required as well.
