<p>Job Description:</p> <p>External Candidates may start applying 5/22/2025</p> <p>Candlewood Lake Elementary School is looking for excellent Elementary Teachers.</p> <p>Location:Brookfield Public Schools - Candlewood Lake Elementary School</p> <p>Important Dates:</p> <ul> <li>August 25 & 26: New Hire Orientation </li><li>August 27: First Day for Current Teaching Staff </li><li>September 2: First Day for Students </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Implementing and delivering an engaging, standards-aligned elementary curriculum to support students' academic and social-emotional growth. </li><li>Creating a positive, nurturing classroom environment where students are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. </li><li>Collaborating with fellow educators and school staff to support student development and success. </li><li>Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. </li><li>Maintaining classroom management and implementing school policies and procedures. </li><li>Completing all required administrative tasks, including grading and reporting on student progress. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Connecticut Elementary Teaching certification. </li><li>Experience teaching at the elementary level preferred. </li><li>Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment. </li><li>Passion for working with children and fostering a positive learning experience. </li></ul> <p>Brookfield Public Schools is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment.
