<p>Overview</p> <p>Join our team as a night shift, full-time, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Director of Nursing in Westwood, NJ.</p> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <p>Thrive in a People-First Environment and Make Healthcare Better</p> <ul> <li>Thrive: We empower our team with career growth opportunities, tuition assistance, and resources that support your wellness, education, and financial well-being. </li><li>People-First: We prioritize your well-being with paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and a supportive, inclusive culture where you are valued and cared for. </li><li>Make Healthcare Better: We use advanced technology to support our team and enhance patient care. </li><li>Learn more about the benefits offered for this job. </li></ul> <p>Get to Know Your Team:</p> <ul> <li>Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>The director of in-patient services is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the delivery of patient care. </li><li>Coordinates the operations of the department and maintains fiscal responsibility for areas under his/her control. </li><li>Assists the Chief Nursing Officer to develop the strategic vision and the direction of the Department of Patient Care. </li><li>Responsible for achieving high patient, physician and employee satisfaction. </li><li>Collaborates with other clinical and hospital leadership to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing. </li><li>Minimum of five (5) years experience in an acute care setting. </li><li>Minimum of two (2) years management experience in an acute care setting. </li><li>Registered Nurse (RN) with New Jersey Board of Nursing or RN Multistate License from the NCL required. </li><li>Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) required. </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) required. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Masters in nursing or related health field preferred. </li><li>Certification through the American Nurses' Credentialing Center in area of specialty preferred. </li></ul> <p>Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.</p>
