You will work closely with our providers, ensuring that residents receive the highest quality care. Your contributions will help streamline workflows and enhance the overall patient experience.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Start each shift by updating the daily clinic census. </li><li>Assist the NP rounding within the clinic and organizing requests from nursing staff. </li><li>Collect and organize labs, orders needing signatures, dietary recommendations, pharmacy recommendations, and nursing concerns for NP review. </li><li>Develop and prioritize a daily schedule for the NP. </li><li>Obtain and record vital signs, Medication Administration Records (MAR), and orders for each patient. </li><li>Retrieve necessary medical records from hospital systems and the facility's EMR for NP review. </li><li>Scribe portions of the medical record in gEHRiMed as requested by the NP (excluding HPI, Physical Exam, Assessment, or Plans outside the immediate presence of the MD/NP). </li><li>Triage patient paperwork with the NP to assist with their daily schedule. </li><li>Maintain the NP's calendar for follow-up visits. </li><li>Coordinate and document the follow-up (re-evaluation) schedule for the NP. </li><li>Obtain chief complaints and vital signs for the NP prior to resident visits. </li><li>Complete demographic information and chronic conditions on charts as requested by the NP. </li><li>Answer intercom calls for the NP and communicate with the NP while in the clinic. </li><li>File and maintain necessary documents for the NP. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Basic medical terminology knowledge required </li><li>Proficient in navigating Electronic Health Records, typing, and general comfort with technology </li><li>Experience in a medical office, both front office and back office, preferred but not required </li><li>Good organizational skills required </li><li>Ability to assess basic vital signs required </li><li>Reliable transportation to/from job sites required </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Certification</p> <ul> <li>Registered or Certified Medical Assistant preferred </li></ul> <p>This role requires travel to and from one or more assigned facilities.
