<p>Parts Salesperson Job Description</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Atlantic Tractor</p> <p>Clayton, Delaware</p> <p>Purpose:</p> <p>This position is responsible for the selling of parts to customers over-the-counter and providing necessary parts to the service department and by placing special orders for our customers. Meet or exceed monthly sales goals driving sales through Aftermarket promotions.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.</p> </li><li> <p>Verifies receipting-in or shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in keeping the parts department clean and orderly.</p> </li><li> <p>Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in maintaining all department tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order.</p> </li><li> <p>Shall be able to multitask while consistently maintaining a high level of attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to work with a team or independently.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a professional demeanor to ensure that the highest level of customer experience is attained.</p> </li><li> <p>On occasion when deemed necessary deliver parts to customers utilizing company vehicle.</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Preferably one year of experience working in a parts department operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with electronic parts catalogs preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid Driver's license.</p> </li></ul> <p>The starting hourly rate is $18 - $24 per hour and will be determined based on experience.</p> <p>#INDHP</p>
