This position requires close physical interaction with patients, offering numerous opportunities to truly connect with patients and build stronger relationships. Often, these patients are dealing with pain, so sensitivity is essential. Giving patients the drive and support they need to work hard and regain their health is equally important.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works varying shifts between 7:00AM - 6:30PM.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Evaluate and conduct prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. </li><li>Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions. </li><li>Establish, revise and evaluate plans of care while involving the patient and/or their family. </li><li>Perform therapy interventions. </li><li>Supervise activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, students and other caregivers. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or certificate </li><li>Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) </li><li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a clinical area </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
