By maintaining a polished presence, working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and representing the Live! brand with professionalism and enthusiasm, you contribute directly to a memorable and enjoyable experience for every guest you serve.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Where You'll Make an Impact:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Taking and delivering accurate drink orders in a warm and welcoming manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve those orders accurately and in an expeditious manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain service areas in a clean and orderly manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of products available for purchase and prices.</p> </li><li> <p>Have knowledge of the Casino facility along with current and future Casino promotions</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to passionately speak to guests.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of:</p> </li><li> <p>Company policy and procedure regarding guests' limitations.</p> </li><li> <p>Alcoholic beverages, liquors, wines, beers, and ales; portray an "ask me" image.</p> </li><li> <p>General bar equipment, Easy Bar System, ABC laws and regulations, and gaming laws.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure guests receive a favorable gaming experience by being unique and spontaneous.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain excellent personal appearance.</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills to Help You Succeed:</p> <ul> <li>"Upsell" and recommend products to guests. </li><li>Speak, read, write and understand basic instructions in English </li><li>Perform addition and subtraction, at a minimum </li><li>Ability to make changes from sales, reconcile and balance sales at the conclusion of the shift. </li><li>Ability to strategically and efficiently maneuver throughout the service area while carrying a tray with service items. </li><li>Able to handle situations that may arise due to intoxication and stressful situations. </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with all departments and other team members. </li><li>Ability to perform assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures. </li><li>Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol. </li><li>Demonstrate poise in all actions, including the highest levels of dignity and politeness. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Must-Haves:</p> <ul> <li>A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. </li><li>Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year experience in beverage service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment; nightclub experience preferred. </li><li>Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by MLGCA or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live's operating standards. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees </li><li>Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises. </li><li>You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed. </li><li>Due to the casino environment, frequent exposure to "adult" language. </li><li>Frequent standing and walking. </li><li>Ability to occasionally climb stairs. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <p>Perks We Offer You</p> <ul> <li> <p>Comprehensive group health benefits for full-time and part-time Team Members and their eligible dependents.
