<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position provides direct mental health services to patients; provides psychological consultation services to institution administration, designated review committees, consulting psychiatrists and other institution and field staff involved in planning the total program of a given offender, e.g., medical, education, security, recreation and probation and parole staff; provides staff development and training; provides clinical supervision to interns in professional psychology consistent with American Psychological Association (APA) and Association of Psychology Post-Doctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) internship standards; participates in clinical supervision and training to maintain, further develop and refine clinical skills; and participates in clinical research as directed by the Psychologist Supervisor.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>This position is in pay schedule and range 18-00 with a starting pay of $90.00/hour.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Limited term employees must be residents of the State of Wisconsin.</p> <p>Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application.</p> <p>The Department of Corrections may conduct pre-employment drug screens. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment. The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting.</p> <p>This position is not eligible for remote work.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Applicants must be licensed as a Psychologist by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS).</p> <p>Applicants must maintain certification in BLS by the American Heart Association and training in the use of the AED and have the ability to perform BLS and/or first aid to prevent loss of life and relieve suffering until appropriate care arrives.</p> <p>Qualified candidates will have experience conducting assessments, providing appropriate therapeutic interventions to clients, and maintaining records related to psychological services.</p> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>To apply, provide a resume detailing your training and experience related to the qualifications listed in the job posting.
