<p>The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering phones, providing pricing and delivery, setting up new customer accounts, processing orders, responding promptly to customer inquiries and complaints. This role will also work closely with management to identify new sales opportunities within the Medical & Industrial markets for Superior's entire product line through its network of OEM's, Gas Distributors and Medical Dealers. The Customer Service Representative is expected to be a customer advocate and represent Superior Products to our customers. This role will go through a comprehensive training program on the products and services that Superior Products manufactures and provides and the markets it works with to ensure the Customer Service Representative is equipped with the necessary knowledge to perform all assigned duties.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Process customer inquiries/communications via email, phone, or other means in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. </li><li>Support the sales team to ensure customer quotes and orders are accurate and complete. </li><li>Maintain a positive attitude towards all customers (both internal and external) and promote company products and services. </li><li>Respond timely and effectively to customer inquiries and when necessary to customer concerns/complaints. </li><li>Attend regular customer service departmental meetings. </li><li>Coordinate and manage in-house follow-ups on pending quotations, proposals, and customer inquiries. </li><li>Identify new sales opportunities within the medical, specialty gas, fill plants and industrial markets for Superior's product lines. </li><li>Follow-up on new customer leads as identified by management. </li><li>Responsible for actively ensuring customer base retention. </li><li>Provide back-up support to other sales/customer service members. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree or certificate required; or in lieu of a degree, years of experience will be considered. </li><li>3+ years' experience providing exceptional customer service and inside sales in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Knowledge of compressed gas products is highly beneficial. </li><li>Caelus or other ERP systems experience a plus </li><li>Proficiency in all MS Office skills - particularly Outlook and Excel. </li><li>Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal. </li><li>Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. </li><li>Highly motivated team player with a passion to succeed. </li><li>Strong self-management skills </li><li>High degree of energy, initiative, and integrity </li></ul> <p>OPW Clean Energy Solutions (CES): As the adoption of alternative fuels surges, OPW is committed to shaping the future of the clean energy industry, and strategically expanding into innovative realms.
