They empower employees, community members and initiatives across their service territory through volunteerism and investments in organizations that support education, sustainability and wellbeing.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Project Management Organization</p> <p>We manage the electric transmission and distribution portfolio of projects in Kentucky, with a focus on safely enhancing grid resiliency and reliability. We deploy a gated project management process across the full project life cycle, including project identification, initiation, engineering, construction planning, construction execution, and project closeout.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist Project Managers with managing project schedules (Primavera P6), project financials (PowerPlan), and project team communications. </li><li>Review financial data to ensure accuracy of estimate and cash flow inputs. </li><li>Learn key metrics for project and portfolio health analysis (EVM - Earned Value Management/CPI/SPI). </li><li>Evaluate field communications for impacts to schedules and committed costs. </li><li>Observe safety meetings, job briefings, and contribute as appropriate. </li><li>Assist Project Managers with project documentation, including requirements, meeting minutes, and other project records. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education Requirements</p> <p>Enrolled in school full time pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in construction management or engineering.</p> <p>GPA Requirement of 3.00</p> <p>#LGEKU</p>
