Discover your opportunities at Yale!</p> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>$71,300.00 - $106,925.00</p> <p>The Client Technologies Administrator 2, supporting FAS and SEAS is responsible for:</p> <p>Provide on-site administration and support for domain specific applications and computational hardware and software used in faculty research which includes: desktops, laptops, server class computers, storage arrays, and tape backup libraries in laboratory and workgroup environments.</p> <p>Coordinate service with IT professionals from other units.</p> <p>Prepare documentation (procedural, planning, informational for team, as well as end users) to support functions specific to departments.</p> <p>Coordinate new AI application projects within both FAS and SEAS and ITS. Both providing instruction and insight to departments as well as creating the applications as needed.</p> <p>Principal Responsibilities</p> <ol> <li>Responsible for the planning and delivery of customer support services including installation, consultation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training. 2. Resolve routine to moderately complex end-user issues in a timely manner through established protocol and troubleshooting; escalate as necessary. 3. Provide guidance and explain policies and procedures to end-users. 4. Install and configure software for network connectivity, backups, server access, etc. on user systems.
